New look, new faces, same exceptional results
As we approach the end of another busy year, we're also at the start of a new phase in our evolution as a firm. Jo Fisher Executive Search has grown year after year, even through the GFC, and we decided it was time to evolve our brand to reflect who we are today.
The way we see it, it's about exceptional appointments that are made to measure – and we plan to keep delivering those kinds of results, without exception, for a long time to come.
To ensure that, we've made some exceptional appointments of our own. Our new team members add even more depth and breadth to our existing team of professionals with extensive sector expertise, vast local and international networks, and an intelligent, lateral, values-based approach:
- Consultants - Sarah Brennan, Elaine Connor, Linda Dewar, Jandy Godfrey, Liz Jones, Kirsten Ludlow and Terri Ward
- Para-Consultants and Researchers - Amanda Barclay, Eilish Devine, Anthony Ellis, Pauline Gates, Emma King and Krista Tse
- Key Advisors - Dr Peter Brooks, Dr Tom Evans, Jody Fassina, Dr Irene Irvine, Graham Monk and Dr Anthos Yannakou.
Now more than ever, this is a team that knows who's out there, what to look for and how to represent clients effectively across the government, education, health, retail, consumer, finance and not-for-profit sectors.
We are all committed to delivering the same 'big-firm expertise with boutique-firm attention' that our clients and candidates are used to, so please don't hesitate to contact any of us about anything that's on your mind.
We look forward to talking to you soon.

| 60% of senior executives ready to make career moves
The vast majority of executives globally – 88% – are interested in hearing about new opportunities, and 60% are more willing to make a career move than they were last year according to the latest BlueSteps Mid-Year Executive Outlook Report from the Association of Executive Search Consultants. This reflects increased confidence in the economy (57% positive) and job market (85% neutral to positive).
It's great news for organisations looking for talent, but it also means all employers will need to work hard to ensure they retain their top executives and remain competitive in the marketplace. Executives interested in a career move report that they would mostly be driven by the opportunity for increased compensation and a better role; at the same time, 25% say they would welcome a better work environment and 26% are interested in an overseas move.
