Reflecting on the year that was (almost)
In the midst of the madness that is December, I wanted to take a moment to reflect.
This year has been our busiest ever, by a long shot. We have had the privilege of working with many of you for the first time, and have been delighted to see long-term clients come back to us time and again.
When I think about why that is, it’s clear to me that our team has earned your trust - which is incredibly important to us – and that our values have never been more closely aligned with yours. There is a real appreciation for a search experience that represents client organisations well, and manages candidates with professionalism and care.
We have also seen more of our clients investing heavily in the kind of risk management and governance roles that are so critical to organisational ethics and sustainability – which are, in turn, so attractive to high-calibre candidates.
These things will stand all of us in good stead in 2010 and beyond.
Next year will bring new opportunities for us, including the launch of a service providing specialised executive interview skills training to senior people preparing for the next step in their careers. But more on that later ...
Thank you for being a part of the JFE family. I hope you have the opportunity for some down-time over the holiday period. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
