Having completed the largest rural water infrastructure development in Australia in modern times worth over $700 million, GWMWater is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to drive change, whilst transitioning the organisation to the next era of service and quality.

The role of Managing Director (MD) presents an exciting leadership opportunity to build on substantial work and recent capital investment, focussing on customer service delivery and increasing productivity across the organisation.

Reporting to the Board, the MD will enhance the profile of GWMWater by encouraging and leading a deeper engagement with the community utilising innovative structures and networks.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional individual; a strategic and values-based leader with proven experience in leading change management and transformation in customer service driven organisations. With excellent stakeholder and community consultation skills, your strong financial acumen and political astuteness will ensure success in leading GWMWater in its exciting new phase.

Experience in the water sector is not necessary, however a passion for making a difference is essential.

Unique in the industry, GWMWater is one of two water corporations with rural and urban distribution and the only one with a pipeline system, providing complete control from catchment through to retail. Providing water and waste water services to approximately 30% of Victoria, GWMWater looks after circa 47,000 customers spread over 62,000 square kilometres across the Grampians, Wimmera and Mallee regions.
